    We are DAVV Trade s.r.o., registered office: Na Spojce 420, 252 50 Vestec – Vestec, Company ID: 22518606, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 417772/MSPH.
    We operate the online store at www.wepack.cz.

    To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

    Personal data processing is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”).

    I. Personal data processing GDPR

    A. When you use the contact form

    If you enquire about our products or services, we process the contact details you provide, mainly via the enquiry form: first name, last name, email, phone number, address.

    Why?

    We use them to contact you and arrange further details regarding the goods or services.

    Legal basis

    Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

    Retention period

    If no cooperation follows, we keep your data for at most 6 months from our last communication.

    B. When you make a purchase

    When you buy from us, we process the details you provide, mainly billing details: first name, last name, address, email, phone number.

    Why?

    We need this data to perform the contract – deliver goods/services. We also use your contact details to communicate order status, handle returns/claims, and respond to your questions.

    We further process data to meet our legal obligations (accounting, tax, claims handling, etc.).

    Legal basis

    Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract; and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

    Retention period

    For the duration of service provision and then for 5 years after the last delivery of such goods/services.

    C. Newsletters (commercial communications)

    If you are a purchasing customer and did not opt out at checkout, we may use your email address to send our news and offers.

    Legal basis

    Sec. 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. (Czech Republic), provided you did not refuse at the time of purchase.

    Retention period

    1 year from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at info@wepack.cz.

    II. Who can access the data?

    Your data stays with us. However, some companies or persons working with us may access it because they help operate our e-shop. They are for example:

    • E-shop platform provider Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00 Prague 6, ID 289 35 675)
    • Companies involved in shipping goods (e.g., PPL, DPD)
    • Companies involved in payment processing (e.g., PayPal, GoPay)
    • Email marketing service provider (e.g., Mailchimp)
    • Marketing agency (e.g., digital marketing agency)
    Personal data is processed only within the territory of the European Union.

    III. Additional information

    We do not have an appointed Data Protection Officer (DPO).

    We do not make decisions based on automated processing or profiling.

    If you believe we are not handling data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or take your claims to court.
