Data Processing Policy
We are DAVV Trade s.r.o., located at Na Spojce 420, 252 50 Vestec - Vestec, Company ID: 22518606, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file number C 417772/MSPH.
We operate an e-shop on the website www.wepack.cz
To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed primarily by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR").
I. Processing of Personal Data
A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you inquire about our products or services, we will process your contact data provided mainly via the inquiry form. These include: first name, last name, email, phone number, address
Purpose?
We will contact you regarding further arrangements for goods and services.
Legal basis?
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – necessary for negotiations and execution of a contract at your request.
How long will we process your personal data?
If no further cooperation is established, your data will be processed for a maximum of 6 months from our last communication.
B. Processing of personal data when making a purchase
If you make a purchase, we will process the data you provide, mainly billing information: first name, last name, address, email, phone number
Purpose?
We process this data to fulfill our contract – to deliver goods or services. We also use your contact information to communicate about your order status, complaints, or inquiries.
We also process personal data to meet our legal obligations (mainly for accounting, tax purposes, or handling complaints).
Legal basis?
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations.
How long?
During the provision of our service and then for 5 years from the last service or delivery of goods.
C. Newsletters (Commercial Communications)
If you are a customer and have not opted out, we will use your email for sending our newsletters.
Legal basis?
According to §7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, if you have not opted out.
Retention period?
1 year from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at info@wepack.cz.
II. Who has access to the data?
Your data remains with us. However, some companies or persons assisting with the operation of our e-shop may access it. These include:
• E-shop platform operator Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Company ID 28935675)
• Companies involved in shipping (e.g., PPL, DPD)
• Companies handling payment processing (e.g., PayPal, GoPay)
• Email service provider (e.g., Mailchimp)
• Marketing agency (e.g., digital marketing agency)
Personal data is processed only within the European Union.
III. What you should also know
Our company does not have an appointed Data Protection Officer.
We do not make decisions based on automated processing or profiling.
