This document explains how DAVV Trade s.r.o. processes the personal data of customers, website visitors and persons who contact us through the Wepack.cz online store.

DAVV Trade s.r.o. wepack.cz Effective from 1 May 2025

We are DAVV Trade s.r.o., the operator of the Wepack.cz online store. In order to process purchases, deliver goods, provide customer support, handle complaints, conduct marketing and ensure the proper functioning of our website, we process certain personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable legal regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

I. What personal data we process GDPR

A. When you contact us or send an inquiry

If you contact us via a form, e-mail, phone or another method, we may process the data that you provide to us.

  • first name and surname,
  • company name, company ID or VAT ID, if provided,
  • e-mail address,
  • phone number,
  • the content of your message or inquiry,
  • billing or delivery address, if provided.

We use this data mainly to answer your question, prepare an offer or agree on the next steps with you.

B. When you make a purchase

When you place an order, we process the data necessary to complete the purchase, deliver the goods, issue accounting documents and provide customer support.

  • first name and surname,
  • billing and delivery address,
  • e-mail and phone number,
  • order, payment and delivery details,
  • for business customers, also company name, company ID and VAT ID.

We use this data to process your order, communicate about its status, hand over goods to the carrier, handle complaints, returns or comply with legal obligations.

C. When you register a customer account

If you create a customer account, we process the data required to manage the account, display order history, speed up purchases and provide customer support.

  • contact and billing details,
  • order history,
  • customer account settings.

You may request that your customer account be deleted or updated at any time.

D. When you receive commercial communications

If you are our customer and did not refuse commercial communications when making a purchase, we may send you offers for similar goods or information related to our product range.

You can unsubscribe at any time, for example through the unsubscribe link in the e-mail or by sending a message to info@wepack.cz.

II. Purposes, legal grounds and retention period

We keep personal data only for the time necessary for the relevant purpose or for the period required by law.

III. Who may access your data?

Your personal data primarily remains with us. In some cases, however, we need to share it with trusted partners who help us operate the online store, process deliveries, payments, accounting or marketing.

  • E-shop platform provider: Shoptet a.s.
  • Carriers and logistics partners: for example PPL, DPD, GLS or other carriers according to the selected delivery method.
  • Payment services and banks: providers of payment gateways, bank transfers or online payments.
  • Accounting and tax services: persons or companies providing accounting, tax records and related administration.
  • Marketing and analytics tools: for example tools for traffic measurement, advertising or campaign evaluation.
  • Technical support and IT suppliers: persons responsible for website administration, security, hosting or technical modifications.
Some service providers may process data outside the European Union. In such cases, we make sure that appropriate safeguards and protection of personal data are ensured in accordance with GDPR.

IV. Use of cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. They help us ensure the proper operation of the online store, remember certain settings, measure traffic and improve our services.

Right to erasure In certain cases, you may request the deletion of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing You may request that we temporarily restrict processing.
Right to data portability In certain cases, you may request the transfer of data in a structured format.
Right to object If we process data based on legitimate interest, you may object to such processing.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe that we do not handle your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.

VI. Effective date

This Privacy Policy is effective from 1 May 2025.

We may update this Privacy Policy if necessary, especially due to changes in legal regulations, services used or the method of processing personal data.
